The Sinopec Banshan Ring Road Integrated Energy Station, situated on Longmenzhen Avenue in Chongqing’s Jiulongpo District, stands as China’s inaugural hydrogen refueling station utilizing underground hydrogen storage well technology. Launched in 2021, the station boasts a daily hydrogen supply capacity of 1,000 kilograms. On November 26, reports indicated that the station has maintained safe and stable operation for over 1,500 days, with its cumulative hydrogen supply now exceeding 400 tons. This achievement represents a major milestone in the advancement and commercial application of high-pressure underground hydrogen storage technology in China.
