On August 31, a consignment of goods valued at 5.254 million yuan, comprising IP phones and video conferencing terminals, successfully completed customs clearance at Xiamen Dongdu Customs and embarked on the "Ocean Network Express Tokyo" vessel destined for South Africa. These goods bore the "Secure and Smart Trade Lane (SSTL)" label, signifying the official inauguration of the pilot route for the China-South Africa Secure and Smart Trade Lane. This marks the first "Secure and Smart Trade Lane" established between China and another BRICS nation, enhancing trade security and facilitation.
