Glencore has submitted an application to include two copper mining projects in Argentina, with a combined capital expenditure exceeding $13 billion, within the government's investment incentive program. The company is seeking tax breaks, tariff reductions, and favorable currency exchange rates for the El Pachón project in San Juan Province and the Aguarica project in Catamarca Province. This incentive program is colloquially known as 'Rigi' in Spanish.
