Guotai Haitong has announced that following the conclusion of end-of-day clearing on September 12, it will commence a comprehensive legal entity transition, encompassing customer and business migration and consolidation across various entities including the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Beijing Stock Exchange, National Equities Exchange and Quotations, China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation, multiple signatory custodian banks, and fund management companies. This process involves the transformation of the legal entity status of the former Haitong Securities in these entities to Guotai Haitong, accompanied by the corresponding transition of clearing participant codes, clearing accounts, dealer codes, coding parameters, and other relevant market identifiers. Concurrently, Guotai Haitong will efficiently migrate and consolidate the customers and business operations of the former Haitong Securities into its own integrated system.
