On March 18, Governor Shi Xiaolin of Sichuan Province met with Huawei's Rotating Chairman Meng Wanzhou and her accompanying delegation in Chengdu. During the meeting, Governor Shi expressed gratitude to Huawei for its support in advancing Sichuan's development. Both parties engaged in a fruitful exchange of views, focusing on collaboration priorities aimed at capitalizing on significant opportunities, including the development of the national strategic hinterland and the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. They discussed leveraging Huawei's strengths in independent research and development, product services, alongside Sichuan's robust industrial base and diverse application scenarios, to enhance Huawei's industrial presence in Sichuan. Additionally, they explored ways to propel the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society, strengthen the construction of computing power infrastructure, expand application scenarios across multiple fields, and ultimately accelerate Sichuan's high-quality development.
