On March 11, it was announced that on March 4, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) had signed a letter of intent to collaborate on 5G and emerging technologies, as well as capacity building initiatives. The two entities also engaged in extensive discussions. The agenda covered various topics, encompassing the evolution of 5G and 5G-Advanced technologies, leveraging 5G for industry digital transformation, innovation in industrial policies, talent development, and the "Blooming Cup" 5G application competition.
