Salesforce Inc. has entered into a multibillion-dollar cloud partnership with Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., with the objective of jointly attracting enterprise clients who currently leverage Microsoft's productivity and AI offerings. Salesforce, predominantly reliant on Amazon Web Services, has pledged to invest at least $2.5 billion over the next seven years to procure Google's cloud computing services. As per the agreement, Salesforce customers will now have the flexibility to run their customer management software, Agentforce (an autonomous AI assistant), and Data Cloud products on Google Cloud. This collaboration underscores the strategy of major tech firms forming alliances to provide customers with an expanded portfolio of AI-powered products and services.
