The Chinese telecommunications industry experienced a seamless operation during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday, marked by a significant surge in mobile data traffic. This traffic increased by 9.9% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 6.603 million terabytes (TB). Notably, 5G traffic contributed a substantial 60.9% to this total. International roaming services also performed exceptionally well, with daily active outbound customers rising by 14.5% and inbound customers experiencing a growth of 30%. Furthermore, AI-driven innovative services fueled industry progress, as evidenced by an 8.5% reduction in mobile phone billing duration and a 20.4% increase in mobile SMS message volume.
