Reliance Industries, helmed by Asia's wealthiest individual, Mukesh Ambani, has ambitious plans to construct the world's largest data center in Jamnagar, India. The proposed facility will boast an installed capacity of 3GW and is anticipated to require an investment ranging from $20 to $30 billion. This colossal scale vastly surpasses the capacity of the current largest data center globally. Ambani has emphasized that the group will harness its extensive expertise and global partnerships to lower the cost of AI inference in India, thereby fostering the widespread adoption of AI applications.
