Tencent Cloud to Hike Prices for .com Domain Registration, Renewal, and Transfer

On October 19, Tencent Cloud released a notice indicating that it had been informed by the .com domain registry, Verisign, of a forthcoming global increase in the wholesale prices for .com domains, effective from November 1, 2026. In response, Tencent Cloud will make corresponding adjustments to its sales prices for .com domains, encompassing registration, renewal, and transfer services (with transfer fees equivalent to one year's renewal cost). Notably, the redemption price will remain untouched, and the pricing for other domain extensions will remain unaffected.
