On October 14, news emerged that Guangzhou Computing Power Industry Development Co., Ltd. had been officially launched. This enterprise is primarily overseen by China Southern Power Grid Digital Power Grid Group and has received collaborative investment from Guangdong Yixun Technology (a fully-owned subsidiary of China Telecom), Guangzhou Digital Technology Group, and Guangzhou Hengyun Group. Positioned as the nation's inaugural central-local collaborative venture centered on computing-electricity integration, its inception signifies a significant leap forward in Guangzhou's pursuit of establishing a city-wide computing power infrastructure. Looking ahead, Guangzhou intends to utilize this firm to expedite the development of an all-encompassing and interconnected computing power grid, foster the seamless amalgamation of computing and electrical infrastructure, bolster the availability of premium computing resources, and forge a real-time computational hub within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
