According to sources familiar with the matter, a consortium backed by BlackRock and IFM Investors Pty has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Stack Infrastructure's data centers in the Asia-Pacific region. The consortium, which includes BlackRock-backed AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP) and IFM, is currently conducting due diligence. If the deal is finalized, the asset valuation is expected to range between $20 billion and $25 billion. The bidders plan to reach an agreement with Stack's owner, Blue Owl Capital, as soon as possible. Previously, Blue Owl sought a valuation exceeding $30 billion for these assets.
