Billionaire Gautam Adani announced that the Adani Group plans to invest over INR 1 trillion (approximately USD 10.4 billion) in the Indian state of West Bengal by 2035, with investment areas including ports, logistics, power, roads and bridges, green cement, and data centers. The group's chairman stated on Thursday that the Adani Group is constructing the Adani Arogya Mandir non-profit healthcare institution, which will feature 2,000 beds, with half of them reserved for economically disadvantaged groups and integrated into state and federal health insurance programs.
