On August 18th, the 18th plenary session of the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance convened in Beijing. During this significant gathering, the Research Report on the Construction Path and Industry Practices of Enterprise Computing Power Infrastructure in the Digital Intelligence Era was formally introduced. This report represents a collaborative effort among Hygon Information Technology Co., Ltd., the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and several other contributing entities. It underscores a pivotal shift in the evaluation criteria for computing power infrastructure development, moving from a focus on mere scale expansion to a greater emphasis on quality enhancement. In today’s landscape, factors such as supply chain security, software ecosystem compatibility, the realization of commercial applications, and sustainable operational practices have emerged as crucial considerations in the construction and selection of enterprise computing power infrastructure.
