Approximately two months after completing its historic IPO, SpaceX released its first quarterly financial report since going public. Benefiting from the robust growth of its Starlink satellite internet business and compute power hosting deals with tech giants like Anthropic and Google, SpaceX's revenue in the second quarter surged by 92% year-on-year to reach $7.8 billion, surpassing market expectations. Among this, revenue from the Starlink business grew by 66% year-on-year to $4.29 billion, with operating profit increasing to $1.66 billion, becoming the company's core profit driver. Despite a $1.26 billion loss in its AI business, the loss narrowed by 47% compared to expectations. Additionally, the company's capital expenditures in the second quarter reached a staggering $18.4 billion, primarily for AI infrastructure construction, far exceeding market forecasts.
