According to sources familiar with the matter, Claude's developer Anthropic PBC has signed a six-year, $10 billion computing power agreement with Volta Infra Holdings Ltd., an infrastructure startup established just a few months ago. Anthropic will utilize data centers managed by Volta, which is backed by Nvidia, to meet the demands of its products. Earlier on Tuesday, Volta announced that it had reached this agreement with an unnamed AI lab and would collaborate with Bitcoin mining firm Bitdeer Technologies Group to leverage its data center facilities in Norway.
