According to the National Informatization Development Report (2025) released by the Cyberspace Administration of China, by 2025, the added value of China's core digital economy sectors is projected to exceed 10.5% of GDP. The revenue generated by the digital industry is expected to reach RMB 39.6 trillion, marking an 8.8% year-on-year increase. Additionally, residents' digital consumption is set to scale up to RMB 25.3 trillion, reflecting an 8.7% year-on-year growth. Regarding network infrastructure, by the end of 2025, the total number of 5G base stations will expand to 4.838 million. Two-thirds of prefecture-level cities will meet gigabit city standards, and the number of active IPv6 users will surge to 869 million.
