Tencent Cloud has officially declared that, commencing on July 27, 2026, it will revise the naming protocols and streamline the pricing structure for the billing components associated with the CI MetaInsight Intelligent Retrieval service. These updated prices will be implemented automatically. In detail, the cost for scalar retrieval will see a significant reduction, plummeting from 2 yuan per 1,000 queries to a mere 0.04 yuan per 1,000 queries. Similarly, the price for hybrid retrieval will experience a notable decrease, dropping from 5 yuan per 1,000 queries to 0.08 yuan per 1,000 queries. Furthermore, the expense for scalar storage will also be trimmed down, going from 0.06 yuan per 1,000 items per month to 0.04 yuan per 1,000 items per month.
