At the OCP Open Compute China Summit, ByteDance showcased its new-generation megawatt-scale computing system, AI Rack 3.0. The system is the first to confirm the adoption of 800V HVDC high-voltage direct current power supply and is equipped with a 100% full-rack liquid cooling architecture. AI Rack 3.0 features a dual-cabinet design, with each cabinet delivering a power output of 500kW. The total power output of the dual-cabinet cluster exceeds 1MW, and it can accommodate up to 576 XPU computing chips. The computing density and cluster bandwidth have doubled compared to the previous generation.
