Microsoft’s Wisconsin Data Center in the USA Begins Operations

On June 23, Microsoft declared that its inaugural data center in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA, is now fully operational. The center’s equipment was activated and launched in April of this year. Presently, the data center has nearly 550 full-time employees, and both Microsoft and its contractors are actively hiring, anticipating a continued increase in staff numbers. Furthermore, Microsoft has outlined plans to invest US$4.7 billion in hyperscale construction projects across Wisconsin from 2024 to 2028.
