At a press conference, Li Chao, Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office and Spokesperson for the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), highlighted that with the swift advancement of artificial intelligence, the establishment of a nationwide, integrated computing power network is gathering momentum. By the end of March this year, China's installed intelligent computing capacity had soared to 1.882 million P, marking a 2.5-fold increase compared to the same period last year, with expectations of sustained rapid growth. During the actual construction phase of the computing power network, market forces are set to play a pivotal, decisive role. Concurrently, the NDRC will collaborate with pertinent departments to bolster overall coordination and provide policy guidance, ensuring the seamless progression of computing power network construction.
