Hzhh Electric: CATL to Invest RMB 4.1 Billion in Subscribing for Newly Increased Registered Capital of Hzhh Technology Investment

Hzhh Electric made an announcement stating that on June 8, Zhu Guoding and Bao Xiaoru, the major shareholders of Hzhh Technology Investment (the controlling shareholder of Hzhh Electric), intended to bring in Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) as a strategic investor. CATL will subscribe to RMB 14.4118 million worth of newly increased registered capital in Hzhh Technology Investment, with a total investment of RMB 4.1 billion. This capital contribution will come in the form of both cash and equity. Upon completion of the capital increase, the equity stakes in Hzhh Technology Investment will be distributed as follows: Zhu Guoding will hold 35.7%, Bao Xiaoru will hold 15.3%, and CATL will hold 49%.
