The National Data Bureau has unveiled the 'Action Plan for Fostering High-Quality Industrial Datasets,' outlining a commitment to advancing pilot initiatives in data annotation. The initial seven cities entrusted with this responsibility will focus on enhancing and deepening their data annotation sectors. Concurrently, innovative pilot areas dedicated to data annotation will be established in phases within regions that exhibit strong innovation potential, robust development foundations, and unique industrial traits. Eligible regions will be encouraged to tailor their development strategies to local conditions, fostering tight-knit cooperation across the upstream and downstream segments of the data annotation industry chain and cultivating industrial clusters. Furthermore, the plan aims to nurture a cohort of leading, unicorn, and gazelle enterprises specializing in data annotation, thereby reinforcing the overall strength of the data annotation industry.
