On May 8, ZTT issued a statement summarizing its recent investor relations activities. The company has propelled its hollow-core fiber technology to the forefront of the industry, successfully supplying hollow-core cables for Sichuan Telecom's quantum communication network and co-establishing the world's inaugural long-distance, low-loss hollow-core fiber quantum communication network. Furthermore, in collaboration with Huawei, ZTT has achieved a milestone by implementing the first large-scale deployment of O-band anti-resonant hollow-core fiber for internal data center connections. The company also aided a UAE telecom operator in conducting a technology pilot in the Middle East. In terms of AI computing fiber optic cable products, ZTT has made significant strides: multi-core fibers have achieved stable mass production, boosting single-fiber capacity by sevenfold; the adoption rate of G.654.E fibers in ultra-high voltage and backbone network settings has risen; and G.657.A2 bend-insensitive fibers cater to the high-density cabling demands of low-altitude economies and data centers. ZTT has also launched a project to expand specialty fiber production capacity at its Indonesian plant, bolstering its global high-end supply capabilities. Presently, the company has completed bulk shipments of 800G high-speed optical modules and showcased the 1.6T silicon photonics module, based on single-channel 200G technology, for the first time at OFC2026.
