The organization's core mission is encapsulated in its commitment to "bridging the data divide, harnessing the potential of data, and fostering the growth of the digital economy." It has been reported that the WDO will dedicate its efforts to advancing global data collaboration and governance. It will delve into the exploration of efficient data communication and judicious data utilization, all while upholding the principles of compliance, security, and trustworthiness. In doing so, the organization aims to provide robust support for the flourishing of the global digital economy.
