At a press conference held in conjunction with the 9th Digital China Summit, the State Council Information Office provided insights into the nation's digital advancement strategies. During this significant event, Wang Yanqing, the esteemed Director of the Information Technology Development Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized the pivotal role of industrial parks as key engines for industrial growth. He outlined a comprehensive plan to drive digital transformation within these hubs, focusing on four core areas: the digital transformation of industries, the digitalization of services and management within parks, and the bolstering of digital support infrastructure.
To realize this vision, the Ministry has outlined a series of targeted initiatives. These encompass guiding enterprises through the upgrade and transformation process, fostering the development of digital services, establishing comprehensive digital archives and profiles, and orchestrating the efficient coordination of resources. Furthermore, the Ministry is poised to capitalize on the momentum generated by the construction of high-standard digital parks, leveraging this as a catalyst to expedite the digital transformation journey for a broader spectrum of enterprises nestled within these parks.
