On March 22, reports emerged that Tencent recently conducted an internal communication session, during which it announced a significant reorganization of its AI business. Specifically, Tencent Cloud’s Product Division III, previously under the purview of Wu Yunsheng—Vice President of Tencent Cloud and leader of Tencent Cloud Intelligence and Youtu Lab—will now be directly supervised by Wang Huixing, Vice President of Tencent Group and CTO of Tencent Cloud. Additionally, certain businesses and personnel associated with computing power training platforms are slated for gradual integration into the IaaS team, with other supporting adjustments currently underway.

Product Division III of Tencent Cloud is dedicated to the AI sector, encompassing key functions such as intelligent agent development platforms, AI SaaS solutions, knowledge engines, and computing acceleration technologies. Wu Yunsheng, who joined Tencent in 2007, has been instrumental in developing multiple products. He established Youtu Lab in 2012 and assumed full responsibility for Tencent Qidian in 2022. Meanwhile, Wang Huixing was promoted to Vice President of Tencent Group in June 2025, overseeing a diverse array of departments.
