On March 23, 2026, in response to rumors that Alibaba is set to launch 'Shrimp Farming' PCs and host hardware, Alibaba responded by confirming the plan. The initiative will be led by Alibaba Cloud's Wuying team and will be based on modifications to existing products, though there is currently no release schedule. According to sources familiar with the matter, Alibaba will introduce hardware products such as the JVS Book (a laptop terminal) and the JVS Box (a mini-host). The laptop terminal is designed for mobile office use, built on an architecture similar to OpenClaw and deeply integrated with the JVS Claw platform. The JVS Box, on the other hand, is targeted at desktop office use and serves as a desktop-level AI Agent workstation, also adopting an architecture similar to OpenClaw. Previously, Alibaba Cloud has already launched multiple Wuying cloud computer products.
