On March 6, an economic-themed press conference for the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress took place in Beijing. Zheng Shanjie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, announced that over the next five years, traditional industries are expected to witness a market expansion surpassing RMB 10 trillion, propelling industrial quality enhancements. Concurrently, significant projects with investments amounting to hundreds of billions, encompassing integrated circuits and a national integrated computing network, will be launched. Additionally, a national-level M&A fund will be established to tackle the challenge of exit mechanisms for venture capital. Moreover, efforts will be intensified to facilitate the monetization of intangible assets, and 100 landmark scenario projects will be rolled out in areas such as modern agriculture, aiming to spur industrial innovation and growth.
