On March 2 (local time), Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced that it is continuing to make progress in restoring two impaired Availability Zones within the ME-CENTRAL-1 region. Currently, access to the AWS Management Console has been partially restored, but some pages still cannot be loaded properly and will require full restoration of core services and power supply. AWS is working diligently to restore access to tools and utilities to support customers in data backup and migration. There is currently no updated guidance on the restoration timeline, and it is expected to take at least one day to fully restore power and network connectivity.
