Regarding the recently hotly debated topic of 'space data centers,' NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated during an earnings call that the current economic benefits of space data centers are not ideal, but there is potential for improvement in the future. He pointed out that although the space environment is cold, the lack of air circulation means that heat dissipation can only rely on conduction, necessitating the construction of huge heat sinks. Huang revealed that NVIDIA has already sent Hopper architecture GPUs into space, with image processing being one of the best application scenarios for current space GPUs.
