On December 10, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology made revisions to and subsequently issued the 'Administrative Measures for Industrial Technology Infrastructure Public Service Platforms'. These measures are designed to cater to a range of pivotal industries and sectors, encompassing the equipment manufacturing sector, the petrochemical and chemical industries, the steel industry, as well as emerging fields such as next-generation information technology, new energy vehicles, and artificial intelligence. The services delineated by these measures span a wide array of areas, including measurement and testing services, standard verification and testing, quality and reliability testing, certification and accreditation processes, industrial information dissemination, intellectual property rights management, and technology commercialization.
