On December 9, Khazna Data Centers, a digital infrastructure provider operating under the aegis of the UAE-based technology conglomerate G42, revealed that it had procured a sprawling 225,000-square-meter parcel of land in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The acquisition paves the way for the development of a cutting-edge, AI-ready data center boasting a capacity of 200 megawatts. This ambitious project marks Khazna's inaugural foray into the Saudi Arabian market, strategically designed to cater to high-performance workloads, encompassing cloud and AI hyper-scale deployments. In tandem with this announcement, Khazna disclosed the appointment of Mohammed Bin Hassan as the leader of its Saudi Arabia division. Bin Hassan will assume the crucial role of overseeing the Dammam project while steering the company's broader expansion endeavors within Saudi Arabia.
