On December 3, the Future Network Test Facility, China's inaugural national key scientific and technological infrastructure in the information and communications sector—with Tsinghua University playing a pivotal role in its construction—successfully passed the national acceptance review. This milestone signifies that China has attained an internationally leading position in terms of comprehensive capabilities for network scientific research innovation and experimental verification.
The facility spans 40 cities nationwide, enabling 4,096 parallel experiments simultaneously. It boasts highly reliable and deterministic transmission control capabilities, offering vital support for applications such as AI large-model training.
