The National Development and Reform Commission, in collaboration with ten other departments, has jointly released the Implementation Plan for Fostering Open Interconnectivity of Logistics Data to Effectively Cut Societal Logistics Costs. This plan underscores the necessity of solidifying the groundwork for the open interconnectivity of logistics data. It advocates for the legal progression of sharing public logistics data, encouraging market-driven utilization of enterprise data, and promoting deeper integration of logistics with information streams and financial flows. Additionally, it aims to dismantle barriers in multimodal transport data, streamline resource allocation, unlock industry potential, and thereby bolster efforts to reduce logistics costs, facilitate the establishment of a unified market, and foster a new development paradigm.
