On Thursday, Spain's Expansión newspaper, drawing on insights from market sources, disclosed that Spain's ACS Group is on the verge of forging a collaborative deal valued at €23 billion (roughly equivalent to $26.8 billion) with BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP). This partnership aims to co-develop data centers. As per the terms of the agreement, GIP is set to acquire a 50% share in the "Digital & Energy" division of ACS Group. The financial structure of this deal encompasses €5 billion in equity funding, which will be infused gradually, alongside €18 billion in debt financing.
