At the "National Data Elements Comprehensive Experimental Zone (Beijing) Press Conference" held on the 7th, the reporter found out that in the first three quarters of this year, Beijing witnessed a 9% year-on-year increase in the added value of its digital economy. Notably, the added value of the core digital economy industries surged by 10.7% year-on-year. Beijing has unveiled the "Implementation Opinions on Establishing a Comprehensive Experimental Zone for Data Elements and Advancing the Market-Oriented Allocation Reform of Data Elements". This initiative aims to prioritize the reform of market-oriented data element allocation, strike a balance between data development and security, and establish a national data management hub, a resource center, as well as a circulation and trading center. Ultimately, the goal is to forge Beijing into a national epicenter for technological innovation and development within the data sector.
