NVIDIA has officially launched the DGX Spark, which is now available in the market. Sharing the mini AI workstation category with the AMD Strix Halo, the DGX Spark is purpose-built for AI development. However, due to its utilization of the Arm architecture and a Linux operating system, it falls short when it comes to gaming capabilities—a significant disadvantage in comparison to the Strix Halo.
Some gaming enthusiasts took to Reddit to test the DGX Spark's gaming potential, but the outcomes were far from impressive. When running Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p resolution with medium settings, the device delivered an average frame rate of merely around 50 FPS, and occasional crashes were reported. Given these results, it is strongly advised against using the DGX Spark for gaming purposes. Instead, it is much better suited for handling AI development tasks.
