On October 15, Alibaba Cloud made an official announcement regarding the launch of its second data center in Dubai. This strategic move is designed to cater to the escalating demand for cloud services and artificial intelligence (AI) across the Middle East region. Since the start of the current year, Alibaba Cloud has been actively expanding its global presence by launching new data centers in a series of locations, including Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, as well as major Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou. Consequently, Alibaba Cloud's global infrastructure network now spans 29 regions and encompasses 92 availability zones, solidifying its position as a leading player in the cloud computing industry.
