According to a research report from CITIC Securities, on September 18 at Huawei Connect 2025, Huawei rolled out the future development blueprint for its Ascend series. As per the roadmap, Huawei is set to introduce the Ascend 950PR, 950DT, 960, and 970 products during the first and fourth quarters of 2026, the fourth quarter of 2027, and the fourth quarter of 2028, respectively. Furthermore, Huawei is in the process of developing large-scale super-node products, namely the Atlas 950 SuperCluster and Atlas 960 SuperCluster, which are designed to accommodate 8,192 and 15,488 cards, correspondingly. CITIC Securities holds a positive outlook on Huawei's Ascend series, anticipating it will hasten its ascent as a paragon of China's computing power. The firm suggests keeping a close eye on cutting-edge process technologies and paying heed to the HBM and other ancillary industrial chains.
