During the first four months of this year, industrial enterprises exceeding the designated size in national high-tech zones recorded an operating revenue of 10.26 trillion yuan, reflecting a robust year-on-year growth of 7.3%. Notably, Zhongguancun's new-generation information technology industry surpassed the trillion-yuan milestone, while Wuhan East Lake's optoelectronic information industry secured a significant half of the national market share. Furthermore, these high-tech zones are vigorously advancing in pioneering fields such as quantum information and humanoid robots, fostering a comprehensive innovation ecosystem. The 178 high-tech zones scattered across China have amassed a vast pool of innovative resources and hold a substantial half of the country's invention patents. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology aims to bolster the innovation capabilities within these zones by establishing high-caliber platforms, with a focus on achieving groundbreaking advancements in key core technologies.
