The 2025 Fortune 500 list has been unveiled, showcasing the technology and finance sectors as the most profitable industries. Alphabet generated $100.118 billion in profits last year, marking a 35.7% increase from the previous year and surpassing Apple to claim the top spot on the profitability list. Apple, on the other hand, earned $93.736 billion, a slight decrease of 3.4% year-on-year, placing it in the second position.
