TSMC's Arizona factory in the United States is anticipated to commence mass production of NVIDIA AI chips by the end of the year, with Apple positioned as the largest customer among the initial batch of recipients. Leveraging N4 process technology, equivalent to 5nm and 4nm standards, the factory boasts a monthly production capacity of 15,000 12-inch wafers, with plans to scale up to 24,000. Amid a surge in orders, the factory may implement a 30% price increase, attributed to heightened costs and maximized capacity utilization. Furthermore, TSMC's 2nm process yield has surpassed the 90% mark.
