He emphasized that Hong Kong intends to leverage its prime geographical location and state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure to establish itself as a leading cross-border e-commerce logistics and distribution center. Additionally, Hong Kong plans to broaden the funding scope of the "E-commerce Express" program and bolster the international competitiveness of local brands through the inaugural "Hong Kong Goods Festival" and the E-commerce Express Service, thereby aiding enterprises in expanding their e-commerce operations. Looking ahead, Hong Kong will expedite the digital transformation of industries, reinforce digital infrastructure, examine the data trading ecosystem, and explore mechanisms to facilitate cross-border data flow within the Greater Bay Area. These initiatives aim to foster deeper integration between the digital economy and the real economy.
