Earlier this month, Samsung Electronics secured an agreement with its major customers to boost the prices of DRAM chips. The increase saw an average double-digit percentage hike for DDR4 prices and a more moderate single-digit percentage rise for DDR5 prices. Additionally, SK Hynix has recently followed suit by raising DRAM prices by 12%.
