On April 16, the research team led by Professor Chen Pengwan from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) unveiled a comprehensive review article titled "Ultrafast Synthesis of Single-Atom Catalysts for Electrocatalytic Applications" in the prestigious Small journal. This paper delivers an in-depth exploration of the technology for the rapid synthesis of single-atom catalysts (SACs) and its current applications within the realm of electrocatalysis. It highlights the groundbreaking pulsed discharge method developed by the team for preparing SACs, which facilitates precise anchoring of metal atoms within a matter of moments, circumvents thermal damage to the substrate material, and opens up a novel avenue for the efficient synthesis of SACs.
