Today marks a significant achievement with the successful installation of China's first indigenously developed 16.2MW onshore wind turbine, boasting the largest installed capacity. This impressive feat is the culmination of efforts by Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., and the turbine now stands tall at the Tianrun Dafeng Wind Power Project site in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The turbine's hub center reaches a majestic height of 155 meters, adorned with blades spanning 130 meters in length, covering an expansive swept area of nearly 55,500 square meters. At full operational capacity, this powerful turbine can generate an impressive 16,200 kWh of electricity per hour.
