Shanghai Glenfly Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. has embarked on the initial public offering (IPO) registration process, marking it as the fourth GPU enterprise in Shanghai to do so within a year. The other three companies are Suiyuan Technology, Biren Technology, and Muxi. Established in 2020, Glenfly traces its roots to the GPU division of Shanghai's chip unicorn, Zhaoxin, leveraging technology acquired from S3 Graphics in the United States. The company specializes in integrated graphics hardware and software solutions, as well as AMOLED display driver solutions, with two primary product lines: graphics and image processing, and AMOLED display drivers. Both lines have mastered core technologies. Despite being an independent entity for a relatively short period and with its commercialization progress still unfolding, Glenfly is racing towards an IPO alongside fellow GPU enterprises like Suiyuan Technology, Biren Technology, and Muxi, showcasing its strength as the heir to the former "GPU king." Shanghai has emerged as a pivotal hub for the development of domestic GPUs, with numerous GPU companies setting up base here, spearheading the trend of domestic GPU chip advancements.
