The Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor has garnered immense popularity owing to its stellar performance. However, its steep price tag has unfortunately made it a prime target for counterfeiters. Recently, several instances of fake Ryzen 7 9800X3D processors have come to light in China. A report from a post-sales service inspection revealed that the PCB substrate coding and edge chip components of a processor submitted for verification by a user did not align with those of authentic products, instead identifying it as a Ryzen 7 7000 series processor. Consumers are urged to exercise caution while purchasing and avoid falling prey to suspiciously low prices.
