On January 15, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Department of Commerce amended the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), appending 25 Chinese entities, among them Zhipu Huazhang Technology Co., Ltd., to the Entity List. In response, Zhipu has voiced its firm opposition, stating that the decision is devoid of factual foundation. Despite its inclusion, Zhipu asserts that its command over the core technology of full-link large models will not significantly impact the company's business operations.
